Why Is It Important For Real Estate Investors to Attend Networking Clubs?
In the video below, Phill Grove details some of the main reasons investors benefit from networking with other investors:
You’ve heard the saying that ‘your network is equal to your net worth‘, but what does that really mean?
If you want to have success as a real estate investor, then surround yourself with other successful investors.
Networking with other investors is how real estate deals get done and real estate investment associations are probably the best opportunity to meet and engage with other investors!
Benefits of Real Estate Investment Associations
For me, personally, I’ve used real estate clubs to create partnering opportunities. I have money and knowledge, but I don’t have a ton of free time to find deals. At networking events, I run into all sorts of people who have time but don’t have the knowledge or money to close deals.
You see, it doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced investor or a newbie investor…meeting other investors always have value!
These types of relationships can be the difference between deals getting done & money being made or nothing happening at all.
I found out a long time ago that I’d rather make 50% of 100 deals than 100% of 5 deals. But the only way to get these types of transactions closed is to meet other investors.
And what better place to do so than a Real Estate Investment Networking Event?
Local Real Estate Investment Clubs
My wife, Shenoah Grove, and I own and operate many real estate investment associations across the country. Our philosophy on REIAs is simple: provide value.
Our clubs are not pitch-fests. Rather, they are educational opportunities (with no products being sold) combined with networking afterwards. We don’t make our money selling products at these events (or having our guest speakers pitch products), rather, we build connections that lead to deals.
Partnering on real estate transactions is how we make our money at these event, and with over 1,200 closed transactions over the past decade, it’s definitely worth getting into different territories.
